Concern - Adding a remote DSB to existing system

hey all, anyone see any issues with adding a remote dsb to an up and running 90 gal with average amount of liverock and shallow in-tank sand bed?

I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to run the new remote dsb to run on its own for a period of time before plumbing it to the 90's system. 90 has been up and running for about 6-8 months. Injecting a "non live" dsb to my 90's system concerns me with regards to cyano etc

All I did for mine was rinse the sand thoroughly. I added it directly to my system.

I added my 60lb RDSB in a 5g bucket last month on a 1year old 90g system. No problems what so ever.

There shouldnt be an issue what so ever. When I added a RDSB to my 95 I used a 7g rubbermaid trashcan with sugar fine sand and coarser? sand from my Display to "seed" it
