Conch compatible with clams?

I like something to walk all over my 3x5 sand bed (maybe 1-2 inch deep) of my clam tank. I'm looking for a fighting conch or queen conch - I'm not sure if there is a difference between the two.

I'm mostly concern if they are compatible with my clams. I was told that they will not climb on the rock, and they remain on the sand bed.

Also, suggestion on where to get conch. I probably should get 2 conch?? for the sand area that I have.

I have a queen and a fighting conch. I also have 3 clams. The queen conch climbs everything in my tank including the clams. It bothers the clams but only for a few minutes. I once caught my queen up near the top 1" of my tank.

I didn't know the queen could climb so well. My fighting conch sometimes gets up about 1-2" on the rock but I have never seen it go further.

I think either conch will nudge your clams trying to get to the good stuff.

We have them in a few of our tanks. Both fighting and queen. The queens will spend time on the glass, rock and sandbed. The fighting conches tend to bury themselves in the sandbed.

In our clam tank they never bother the clams.

Thanks. I've decided on just fighting conch because I don't want queen conch to get on the rock. It seems fighting conch will stay on the sand and mind his own business.
