Confused about additional additives

I have a 90 gallon reef tank and am getting ready to replace the sump, protein skimmer and add a refugium. I will also be keeping the calcium reactor that I have. My question is I want to add 2 additional reactors, GFO and Carbon. I've heard that carbon my actually absorb calcium which may be counter productive. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. :wildone:

Carbon never absorbs significant calcium, so that is not a concern.

GFO can cause a bit of downstream precipitation of calcium carbonate, but not so much that the reactor cannot easily overcome it.
