Confused!

if I may, there seems to be a bit of info missing here...
a few bits of info please...
How much LR do you have?
How much Live sand do you have and was all of it transfered from another tank or did you use new sand and just add some LS from an established tank?
IMO your pH is a bit too low, but I'll let you be the judge...IMO should be at least 8

Also, you have added a large bio load in a rather short period of time so if you do not have a sufficient amount of LR with a good sized bacteria bed then you will experience a "cycle" again...

One other question, what is your acclimation process when introducing your new fish, inverts and corals?

Not too sure on LR as I never actually measured it. It almost filled 2 5g buckets. Only 1 piece is large. All the corals And fish have been in since Friday. This is day 4 and still 0 on ammonia and nitrite and nitrate below 10. So I think it was sufficient as It didn't mini cycle.

Salt is at 24 and that's where I think imma keep it.

LR and LS were all added from establish tanks. LS was in the tank when u got it. Broke down at 10 am and setup next day. LR was added next day and was from the sump on a tank.

Acclimation is dripping them. Drip till water doubles in bag, then dump half, drip again, then transfer from bag to tank an discard water from bags.

Im really thinking about trading the SPS for a softie. Not a big fan of SPS and this piece is rather large.

Where are you located. I have some nice softies i'd trade for a green slimer if it's in not too bad of shape already... I've been looking for a decent green slimer for a little bit now.

pm me if ur interested. i'm in the nw suburbs
