Connecting a Bio Pellet Reactor to Bubble King Skimmers

I will be adding a Bio Pellet Reactor to my system and I want to connect the output from the reactor to the intake of my Mini 180. I was wondering if anyone here has an easy way to accomplish this.

Is the second intake (smaller/gray one) on the nozzle an option? I'd like to simply connect my reactor up directly to this but I'm not sure what this was originally designed for and if it will impact the performance of the skimmer.

You are not going to be able to accomplish what you're wanting with an internal skimmer. You will end up messing up the flow dynamics of the skimmer by trying to force feed water into it. The only way to do what you're wanting is to use an external recirculating skimmer and feed from the reactor over to the skimmer. The best I could offer you now is to dump the outlet of the pellet reactor right in front of the skimmer to have it pull in as much of that water as possible.

It will slightly increase your skimmer efficiency in hopes of removing the binded up organic and bacterial compounds that have formed from the carbon dosing.

I understand this is old, but for everyone's future knowledge the second intake was designed by (Klaus) Bubble King as an Ozone Injection port. HTH
