Connecting Bulkhead to pvc

What is the best way to connect pvc to a bulkhead? Would it be to place some pond tubing or something on the bulkhead and have that go into one of those grey pvc pieces that are ribbed(not sure of the technical name). Thanks.

First you must know if your bulhead is threaded or not. This refers to the inside of the bulkhead. Does it have threads on the inside? Both ends? If yes, then you can just screw in any MPT fitting, whether it is a MPT X barb (for vinyl tubing) or MPT X socket (for hard PVC or spaflex). If the bulkhead is smooth on the inside, then you can simply glue PVC into it.
