Connecting streams to a UPS

Will a UPS that puts out a "modified sine wave" be OK for use with streams (6000/6055/wavebox)? Or do I need one that puts out a true sine wave?

Yes, for the 6055 though you could use a 6105.50 safety connector and a battery for a direct DC back up. This will work with any of the newer pumps with the DC power supplies, like the 6101, 6201, 6055, newer wavebox, etc.

I just realized that my question begged for confusion, but I understand your "yes" to mean that I CAN indeed use this "modified sine wave" UPS with my 6000/6055/wavebox setup.

I've got an old 6000 and wavebox so I'll just use this UPS until I upgrade to a new Stream 2!

That is correct, the driver converts AC to DC so the sine wave is unimportant.
