Considering a Canon Powershot S2 IS

i really like mine. it is my first camera that isn't mostly auto. the S2 IS allows me to do many more things then any camera i have used...hence i'm not that good w/ it yet...but i like it

only problem i had was w/ soem indoor shots and them blurring..due slow shutter speed prolly but i couldn't get enough light w/ a faster shutter speed

anywho i just took these pics yesterday w/ the camerasee what you think...like i said i'm still learning

Lunch- your pics are great. I would've said dslr with 100mm macro lens if I didn't know it was S2IS.

gregr - REALLY??? hmm...umm...ok! i'm still learning...hope can i improve??

like i said before i think the S2 IS is a great mid priced camera. i guess if you have the fund buy somethign in the 1000+ range...but for me that would be overkill. i would prolly only used 1/2 the camera the S2 IS is a nice mix of advanced features in an easy (somewhat for a newbie to photos)camera. and for only 500bucks a great price
