Conspicuous Angel on DD

Nice fish... once read it was the most sought after angel fish.
This 6 incher is $3k.. wowzers

I would say the peppermint is #1, but the conspicuous is very nice. Years ago DD had a pair for $3k, time have changed and prices have gone up.

For that price Id rather have a couple bandits, a goldflake, blueline and a maze. Or a single interuptus. But no Angels in my 860g

I don't know, I have been in the hobby for 42 years now, and I still like the common everyday fishes that are available. Percula clownfishs, Royal Grammas, Naso Tangs, Emperor Angels, etc, etc, etc. Spectacular fishes. Paid $25 for my Moorish Idol. Most spectacular fish bar none in my book.

Derek, what do you mean no angels in the 860g?!

It'll have lps, clams and zoas primarily, and as you know most will destroy those.

It'll be wrasse, tang snd anthias dominant. hopefully 30-40 wrasses, 6-10 tangs, and 40-50 anthias, plus a bunch of miscellaneous lil fish for weaving in and out of rock and sand(ie gobies, blennies, grammas, psuedo, jawfish etc)

Hence why I search out some rarer wrasses, even though some aren't extremely spectacular. Also why I have my gem tang...
