constant jabs are unneeded

this is to clear the air about a couple issues since the person in question wont be an adult enough to talk to the person they have an issue with. about a year and a half ago my tank broke and i went to puppy center and bought a brand new deep blue 38 gallon tank from the great guys there. which was great since i couldnt find any other place local with it. i guess its not as common. well anyway, about 4 or 5 months later pallobi offered to give me his 75 gal that was loaded with byropsis by his own admission and 40 breeder and stand since he had no room for it and his parents wanted it out of thier basement. so i went over and helped him move his new tanks into place and brought the ones home that he gave me without me asking. i had another 40b tank that had less holes drilled in it so i gave the other 40b that he gave me to another member. just had to pick it up outside. i dont remember who it is and i cant search for it right now but can confirm it when i get my pm privies back if anyone would like. i setup the tank. he also has given me a frag of joe the coral as well as some aogs and radioactive dragoneyes. nether of which were healthy frags and neither of which i asked for. he showed up with them with another couple of corals i purchased from him at the time. they were poison ivys for 20 or 25 and magicians for 20, neither of which made it because he dosed things in his tank that he shouldnt have. along with the utter chaos we both went in on that was in the tank he dosed and wiped out most of his smaller zoa colonies. i also purchased more but cant pull up the old posts due to lack of search for me. i have since then given him much credit for helping me along in the hobby and thanked him for the tank and stand he gave me in my tank build threads. as well as icycoral and my mother who isnt in the club but helped alot when i broke my back. since i recovered ive offered to help neal multiple times offering to do his brakes if his dad couldnt ect ect. well to fast forward i recently purchased a very bleached out watermelon chalice that is still recovering from his tank about 2 months later maybe more. i also purchased his colony of my clemintines. both totalling 230$ now im getting shots thrown at me from him on almost everything i post because he asked and i do stress asked for a 15 frag of radioactive dragoneyes which came from a small colony of maybe 20 or 30 i bought from the guys at pc before i even met pallobi at icycorals house. i said no problem at all since he was supposed to be a friend. he blew me off and asked for it again the next week. i still had it set aside for him since i figured he got busy and couldnt make it. he blew me off again. then started posting drama about how greedy and selfish i was. i tried to message him here and he wouldnt respond. so i let it go. yet every time i come on here to check a post i put up its him running his mouth about how i bash the club and basicly saying i wasnt welcome here. i have "bashed the club" about the lutz tank and about the lack of communication between the previous bod and the members. it was frustrating seeing so many people trying to help and it seemed like they were just getting let down. maybe it wasnt my place seeing how im not a paid member. so if i overstepped my boundries i appoligise to the ctars group as a whole. but i seem to remember the same club praising pallobi bashing the club like crazy for the first year and a half i knew him. everyone has there issues with certain things that goes on. people need to vent. i never called him out on it when he went club crazy all of a sudden. i was glad he was happy with it again. so heres my quandry if pallobi doesnt flag another one of my posts and get it deleted again. is there anyone in the ctars club or extended nonmember family that feels i have been unfair to anyone or greedy or anything to that effect? is there anyone that thinks i have tried to rip them off or sold them wrong named corals? does anyone not want me to post or be a part of this club forum? i do have plans to join after the issues get worked out with the new bod and whatnot. if anyone has an issue with me besides him i can stay on the orsas board that i plan on joining as a paid member in january. i dont mean to cause drama but im tired of the constant flagging and posts from a person that i considered a good friend because he cant see paying for a 15$ frag after i funded half if not more of his new leds. so heres whats gone on. im the one he keeps throwing jabs at so its not a big secret to some now. and i really would like some honest opinions. and if any of them have time id like some input from the current and past bod. if people have an issue with me i wont post or offer to help or sell or trade on the ctars forum out of respect of a group decision.
 
stay, join, and continue reefing:) sad,sad, and sad. i have to say your not the only one..lol i have a small crew silently bashing me aswell and im not quite sure why. so i feel ya. computer courage perhaps. people just dont man up anymore . no face to face, just stabs in the back. its the american way i guess.:)
 
he lives less than 20 mins from me. i dont understand if he has an issue with me why he cant just come sit at my kitchen table like we have a hundred times and talk it out. but instead it goes back to a highschool level? its not nessessary. i know im not the best person to deal with sometimes but i try to be fair and im always honest. im just not as social as some. its not because of anyone here. im just a quiet person and like to be with my family.
 
comon guys and girls 27 views and 1 post. input is greatly appreciated. no need to take sides or anything just wondering the groups opinion on how ive treated members and the club including the many many non members that frequent this particular board. anyone want me to go? no hard feelings in either case.
 
not trying to hijack your thread or anything but i went to PC yesterday , saw joe wallice, and three or four other members( sorry dont know the names) and then there wuz this other one............. asking who is chriskid?..... and my girl heard and looked over , and she cowered behind the tanks...lol i just had to laugh however the crap being said behind my back dosent bother me.and not even knowing who it wuz i asked myself, what could i have possibly done to get that affect? stuck up for the members, and wanting club,and club tank to be run with a hint of passion? and then i said to myself, what do i care? ill still give corals to members, help when i can, ignore the mindless dribble and try to have fun in this club. there is a constant shadiness about allot of people , selling corals under a name they think it is, selling there stash to people that think there getting a deal with, and going home with undisclosed pests......

whatch out people, most are good, some just plane suck..lol JMO

I don't have a problem with you staying. I have wondered why you haven't joined in the past,but that is your decision. Overall,the club is awesome. Anyone willing to give input is welcome in my book. I'm not sure I agree with duking it out with Pallobi in the forum as it just adds to some of the ugliness that has turned some people away, JMHO. Join and come to some meetings and meet some of the awesome people that are part of the club :)
 
And for the record,anyone talking smack about Chriskid is just an idiot. He is very generous with his time,knowledge, and corals and has been incredibly helpful to the club. Let's stop the childishness and get back to helping each other enjoy the hobby.
 
i agree mike. i see so many awesome people here thats why im still here. i belong to 3 other forums off rc but like this one the most since its local and theres so many helpful people. and i also agree with you saying it this isnt really the best place for this. i attempted contact with pallobi through pm to see why he has an issue with me when last time i saw him he was happy to take the money out of my hand. he would not respond. but he has issues with me. i just wanted to know if it was a group consencises or just him being him. sad to loose who i considered a friend over a 15$ frag. but im glad it seems like the people on the forum feel that ive treated them fairly. people have sold stolen salt from places they have worked at in the past (even had not for resale on the bags). sold things over paypal that were broken to rip people off. sold people corals that arent what they were advertised as. its sad. but thanks for the input everyone. im glad im not the monster ive been put out to be.
 
I agree with most of what SteelerMike said. As far as negative comments by others, I go by the old saying "if the shoe fits wear it, if it doesn't don't worry about it". As far as clubs like CTARS, most not only need moral support but also need financial support. We all know that this hobby is not inexpensive but I think we could all forgo one frag, or coral, or fish to pay for the $20 dues to support the hobby we all enjoy. What we learn or buy off this site more than offsets the $20 we put out. Plus I think it makes everyone feel you are part of the team. JMHO

I really would like for anyone that has problems. Maybe state them in a pm and let it be you can tell if it was read or not and if it goes unread then you did your part continue on with what you are doing and let the other s do their own thing.

Would love to see you as an active member and all ideas are welcome.
 
Don't feel bad I get bashed all the time and also my posts gets flagged all the time havnt figured out who yet but in the long run who cares what othere people thing come here ask ur questions and don't care about the stupied stuff it's alot easier and the better u get the more people like ur reef the more people that will hate you lol wait till I get my tank right every frag will be five bucks weather to be utter chaos to red dragon lol who cares its about saving reefs having fun and sharing the love just need to stop people from giving out red bugs and nudi branches or the one I am over coming now aefw that is funny because I only bought from the club so one one has them and selling frags now [profanity]

I'm not sure why you two are beefing but prolly best to keep it off the forum we do have alot of drama that's not needed on here and you two both are good people gotten many things from pollobi not sticking up or choosing side just think we all need a vacation :)

unfortunately, it seemed to have started in the only cool thing in this club right now. and it DOESN'T belong there! your right but better to have it here then there .........sorta........lol
 
Lol oh well I hope we aren't in 1st grade again I don't think I care anymore its getting to that point were its more of a downer and sad to come on rc that a joy sometimes I'm so happy about somthing but then I don't post because I don't want to get bashed then othere times I'm [profanity] lfs that I want to bash but I bite my tounge some times we just need to bite a little extra or somthing lol

i agree and i let it go for weeks. i just get tired of it when every post i put up is met with crazinessand hatred. i dont plan on letting one bad seed ruin my reefing hobby. just gets frustrating. i welcome anyone with issues to me to come talk to me. im a good guy for the most part when people do right by me. but to drag it out for weeks and weeks over 15 bucks? its pathetic. all it does is cut off another person you might be able to get that special piece from. i dont do trades or sales or give anyone things when they stab me in the back. itll only happen once and i learn. just would like to be left alone and stop the harassment over a frag that id throw out before i tried to rip someone off for it. thanks again for the great feedback from everyone. i got the answer im looking for.
