continuous water change (need help from those that have them)

I would like to see what sytems there are for doing contiuous water changes, i have heard lots of discussions of people having them but would lie to know the nitty gritty details so i can learn from others and install the sorrect one the first time. Please give me details (the more the better) on your water change system. thanks in advance.
