controller/stream question

What would I need to connect a 6000 stream to a single controller? If I was to buy a 6000 stream and a single controller, would I need anything else to connect them together or ect? Also, I read on Fish supply:

"Y adapter 7092.34 can be used to synchronously operate two Turbelle?"

So I could run two 6000s on a single controller? Also, How would I turn off the pumps at night or turn them down alot so I don't have alot of flow at night?

why would you want less flow at night?

there is a light sensor thing, but i don't use it, i want all the flow, all the time.

My small percula clown and tomato clown sleep on top of my 6060 in my 75 and the first time I watched, them they were getting stuck to it. I would atleast like to decrease the flow at night.

the light sensor, costs extra $15, will power the pumps down for the night.

why do this, well to mimic the natural environement, similar to moon lights. the ocean can be much calmer at night due to the lack of sunlight which leads to lack of heat exchange currents which leads to lower wind which leads to a lack of waves which leads to less poweful sugrses/currents.

this also gives critters the ability to get some rest whole not being sloshed around while trying to sleep which im sure its harder to find i nice spot in out tiny little biospheres.

and yes, the single controller only has one control cable, so the y splits it to control two pumps. just remember that both pumps will run exaclty the same, as set on the controller.

if you want seperate controls, the multi controller is needed.

Ok Thanks. So all I'll need is a Y cable, single controller, and two 6000 streams. How does the 6000 plug into the single controller? How does it switch from a wall outlet cord to a cord to plug into the controller?

The Y adapter splits the signal to 2 plugs for the 2 pumps. The controller plugs into the driver and has nothing to do with wall outlet plugs.
