controller suggestions??

I'm planning on a 125 gallon with sump in my basement about 20 feet away. I was thinking of getting a controller for it, possibly neptune AC JR. Will I be able to control the lights on the tank, and lights 20 feet away on a refugium and heater in the tank and heater in the sump, ph etc with both locations 20 feet away from each other with the same controller?? The whole 'x 10' thing doesn't make sense to me. Any thoughts would be appreciated, especially any of you who may have sumps that far away. Thanks in advance!!

I have an ac & it does a great job now that I got rid of those X-10 modules. There are others on the market so I would suggest looking @ what they do for what YOU want. These things will do so much more than alot of people want. If you decide on a Neptune unit get a DC-8 or 10. They elimate the X-10's and connect direct to the controller. Not cheap but the headaches they avoid are worth it.

Thanks for the input vinny, I'm trying to avoid buying things that I just replace later on realizing I need a better one (like I did with most of the equipment on my first tank!).
