Are you kidding? My network guys couldn't get my firewall talking to a wireless router at all. No, I may not be an MCSE (like they are) and I don't even know what the subnet numbers mean, and somehow I managed. :rolleye1:

So let me rephrase -- "And I have to use the Sonicwall firewall, because they tell me so."

I am not going to bash MCSE here, but MCSE has about 1% to do with networking.

Anyways back on topic... did you finally decide to shell out the extra cash and get the Neptune?

Nope, I need to geet my chiller situation in hand first. The controller is just a redundant, make my life easier thing.

I suspect I will get the Lighthouse, though.

Get an Aquatronica, the Ethernet is not Vaporware, they are delivering 3 production ethernet modules to people on this forum in the next 2 weeks and everyone else by the end of July. Also an SMS module and Dosing pump have been shown and are working and these will be available in July/Sept.
The Aquatronica is much newer technology than the rest, with USB connectors and almost unlimited expandability.
