Can you control a Tunze Stream with a wavemaker as opposed to their controller? It could defintely save some money when paired with a tank controller with built in wavemaking.

I would probably post this in the Tunze forum. I am sure Roger of Tunze can help you out.
The 6000 and 6100 Streams used on our controller speed up and slow down- they pulse. It isn't a basic on and off function and the beauty of the pumps is really only seen with our controller, the others just can't use the features. The 6060 and 6080 would be absolutely destroyed by a wavemaker of any sort. Using other wavemakers does void the warranty of the pumps.
