Since seahorses need to be fed many times a day, how do you keep the nitrates to a minimum? I have a protein skimmer, dsb, macro algae and a good amount of liverock. What else can you do?
Water changes, not like that isn't the most obvious. At least 20% per week is what I go with. A refugium is also a good idea. A nice refugium stocked with cheato really helps alot too.
