and im drilling hols for the overflow and im not using the powerheads i decided after i bought them that im going with a closed loop for flow.
i have 2 questions though
1)how many hols sude i have for my over flow or if just one how big should it be?
2)wat r those black boxes with all the red switches on them called? and a link would be great too.

I bought mine on Ebay. How much did you pay for the Tek 5 lights. Did you get the 4 or 6 bulb setup. I may purchase these too.

oh my god your light is beutifull i am almost sure i need a new light that one looks perfect i bet clams and sps will grow in every corner of that tank by the way i am not experienced with hob i was just going by what i was told my tank has a hob skimmer i think your tank will be awsome

i got 2 actinic 1 actinic white and 1 day light its a pritty good color
i also build the fram of the stand, i am letting a carpender finish it because i dont like i could do a good enough job on it myself. im putting a custom acrylic tank from glass cadges in it 19x14x14(about 16g)

are you hanging your lights? I didn't think it was recommended to lay the Tek lights on the tank like that. Just curious.

I'm going to paint the back of mine tonight(since the glass overflows I installed are black) I'll try to take some pictures of how I drilled mine and installed the glass overflow. He might want to copy my method.

the light is going to be hanging. just think of how much salt creep would be in that light if i keps it there.
and im sending my glass tank to be drilled because he is a friend and it will be free. but the sump im drilling
