Converting Rebel XTi to Infared?

I know a few people on here have converted thier older DSLRs to infared. I was planning to do this to my xti after I pick up a 50d. For those of you who have done this, did you do it yourselves or have it profesionally serviced/. If serviced. can you recommend a good place? Do local shops do this or will I need to find a place online. I live in the San Mateo area of N. Cal.

I did my XT myself. It's not for the faint of heart and requires ripping the camera apart, via screws and unsoldering, down to the sensor. If I were to do it again I'd probably pay.
