Convict Tangs Get the Shaft

I just acquired a Convict Tang. My yellow tang didn't like him all last night and there was a bit of chasing and nipping but no damage. I hope he does well. He is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. he is WHITE IVORY with Jet Black stripes. Very active and very flashy. When I'm near the tank he swims in circles for me.


I haven't seen much about them online though. Seems like they get the tank shaft.

According to Live Aquaria's description other tangs will harass them. I hope its not the case with my two.

The Yellow is the more aggresive of the 2, and was in first, teritorial. Good luck, if there is too much aggresion turn the lights off.
