Anyone have experience with pike blennies? Considering one more fish. And that would certainly be a cool one. Are they aggressive?

I've seen one at fish store display tank with a pair of clowns and other smaller fishes. It's peaceful in general. It gets pretty big though for a Blenny. The one I saw ate everything including flakes.

I've good news and bad news.

The bad news is that, yes, it's basically a washed-out, faded, dingy yellow tang.

The good news....IT'S ONLY 10X MORE EXPENSIVE!

I kind of do want that. That sounds really cool. Do they spend most of their time in their tube? I would prefer that so he doesn't cause trouble in other territory.

The one I've seen just perches on the rocks and hangs out in little rock holes. It doesn't have a designated tube. Only times I've seen it swim was at feeding time. It's definitely definitely a unique fish.

I actually really like it, I think the price is fair too for DD. I just wonder if it'll change from yellow to a regular scopas eventually...

I think it's prettier than a YT, but then again the YT is near the bottom of my "fish I like" list.

IMO, the YT is a lot more beautiful than much more expensive fish. Just it is common.

If a gem tang were as common as a yellow and vice versa, people would be killing themselves to get a yellow and everyone would be meh aboot the gem.
