Cool Fish on Diver's Den

I am so happy my lfs gets the same fish for much less. He gets allot of rarities.
I can order a fish and usually get it in a few weeks.
Right now he has a lightning clown almost perfect for 228.00
Another fish store by me laughs when I ask for some fish.

You are lucky to have an LFS. I do not have for 2-3 hours away. It is cheaper to just pay shipping. Better yet order enough to get free shipping.

Yea well it was not like that for along time. Mater of fact it was horrible for a very long time, we had very little in the way of reef stuff. When I got in the hobby around 30 years ago there was pretty much saltwater. Then it got bad, allot of stores went belly up with the internet, saltwater stock was limited or in poor health. As far as equipment most were selling 10 year old gear at 5 times the prices. It was terrible for many years. I traveled to get my stuff or traded.

This store is relatively new, actually the store is not new but it is the new owner. He knows what he is doing and has good employees. His store is small but every inch of it is packed. He has good up to date equipment, he sells and at the same price as mail order. I mean he has ATI, Ecotech, AI, Kessil etc. He caries allot of coral and invertebrates. He is friendly and helps.

By not being on a main drag and not overdoing the store he can keep prices down.

What is funny now the other stores are trying saltwater again and bringing in some cool stuff. What amazes me though is they are almost double the prices on allot of stuff.

But yea I am lucky now to have Best fish.

Does anyone know if Bimaculatus anthias are jumpers? I was so close to pulling the trigger on that beautiful trio but I have a rimless tank.

was about to pick up another regal angel from LA, but saw a 2.5" Red Sea Regal and a 2" Moorish Idol for sale at Total Fish & Pets in San gabriel. both eating brine shrimp like a champ.

Moorish Idol for $38 and Regal Angel for $75. score!

Tried to get this one. Even With the latter posting I still could not get this guy. Think it was gone before i got the email. :angryfire:

Don't wait for the email. Most prized fish are long gone by the time you receive that. They post the fish at 6:00pm eastern time. I'm on at 5:59 and refreshing constantly when I see something I want in the preview email.
