Cool Fish on Diver's Den

I sure do hope this doesn't last very long. With other fish I've added my Cherub angel has harassed new comers for maybe 30 minutes at most, then only occasionally after. My McCosker's wrasse has never done the attack (more like just flashing) that he's doing with the hog fish. I never expected the McCosker's wrasse to do something like this since he had no problems when I added the Royal Gramma.

Yellow Candy Hog Fish update:

My newest addition Yellow Candy Hog Fish is doing very well. My McCosker's wrasse is still being very aggressive towards him as is my Cherub angel. The issue my CA has with him is that he's decided to live in the same rock area as the CA. But surprisingly the CA isn't being all that aggressive this morning and is even chasing away the MW. My Midas Blenny also lives in the same rock that is over the top of the CA's living quarters and is chasing away the MW :lmao: So I think it's going to be alright and should only get better with sightings. I've already seen the YCHF quite a bit so far today. Beautiful fish and I'll get some pictures as soon as I'm able to get some decent ones.

I'll be feeding the tank shortly and see if the YCHF comes out to eat with the others or just eats behind the rocks.

Looking good, Dkuhlmann.

I like this flame angel, has a good amount of blue on it.

Thanks

He was out most all day, but is a little bit scared when I approach the tank. When I fed he went into the rocks and came out after a bit and managed to get some Mysis. I'm sure in time he will be like the others when I come up to the tank they all beg like a litter of puppies :D

There was still some slight aggression from the McCosker's wrasse but not as bad as yesterday. Funny thing is my Midas Blenny is acting like he's protecting the YCHF by chasing the MW away from him. I'm just glad most of the aggression subsided and I think it will become less even more with a little bit of time.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get some decent pictures of him.

I did fiind an anemone that I didn't know that I had. :crazy1: I had two RBTA's until Saturday I picked up a rainbow BTA that is about 5" diameter. Last week I posted about one of my RBTA's losing all of it's tentacles from my new lights being too high. Well that one went behind a rock where I can't see it and the other one is doing fine and out front and center. The new one is on the backside of a very large rock but getting good current and lighting, I may have to turn the rock around. Anywho, I'm thinking that the one that lost it's tentacles must have split before it lost it's tentacles, I was actually thinking it looked like it had split because it only had tentacles on one side. So apparently it did and I now have 4 BTA's again. Guess I'll have to get rid of some.

What was that "Curious Wormfish"? I've never seen one before. Does it go after shrimp or snails or anything? Would it get along with a Diamond Goby?

I have always wanted one also, but decided against it when I couldn't find anyone that has gotten one to eat frozen. These guys seem impossible to get to eat and you need 3"+ sand bed.

Why is their care-level listed as moderate on Live Aquaria if they're difficult to get to eat frozen? Shouldn't that be "expert" or at least "difficult"?
