Yes, cool pic! Love the cleaner. Love the radiata. Looks like someone else wants in on the action too. Whose snout is that sticking in from the right?

I was surprised you had enough light to take a pic until I saw in the EXIF info that your flash fired. :D

Load the full resolution version of that pic into Photoshop, knock the highlights down a bit, boost the blacks and sharpen.

Keep the good pics coming!

Cool Shot Treesmoker,

Couple of questions...I heard that lionfish will eat anything that it can fit into it's mouth so is the cleaner at risk eventually?

Also what other fish can you put in there with him. I was thinking of a dwarf lion a clown and I would really like a longnose hawk but I am afraid he will get eaten.

Is he eating frozen yet and where did you get him?

Thanks Craig.

p.s. More photos please!!

craig- well, if you want to put a fish in a tank with critters that might get eaten, you'd need to add the predator in last. It also helps to get it as small as possible. This lion wont get as big as a volitan, but still bigger than a dwarf. The size difference between my lion and shrimp was huge when i first put him in the tank so the lionfish will have "grown up" with the shrimp by the time he's big enough to pose a threat, they will have developed a semi- symbiotic/ commensal relationship. Plus he's been tank raised, most all fish that are tank raised are less aggressive twords things that would normally be food in the wild.
