copepods breeding filter?

I'm about to setup a separate tank to throw in some plants and copepods to breed my own copepods. If I use a power waterfall pump or a hang on filter like a penguin will it suck up the copepods?

yes, but thats fine. they will circulate through any filter and or pump

Yes, they will. If you run it without a pad you'll be fine.

They will breed in the pad. When you rinse out the pad, you can put the pods back in the tank.

You can always make a pod condo - I use the plastic canvas made into a box using fishing line then filled with rubble - pods love it!

I have seen some of those pod condos at my lfs for sell, if you buy them you put it behind rock work
