copper and flukes

If copper is being run in the display tank, and the infected fish receive F/W dips, will the copper control the flukes from reinfecting if they are in a free-swimming stage or direct transmission type?

did you guys do F/W dips as well?

I did dips on a couple of fish to confirm flukes and then treated the tank w/fish.
