HI! For an experiement for a class im doing the effect of the reduction of copper on snails. Now obviously with less copper the snails will live but what i need to do now is research. Does anybody know or have any sites for: Why does a snail die when copper is in the water? How does a copper remover work? And i know there will be more questions later so any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
If your researcing snails here is a great site.

I believe copper and other heavey metals are toxic to all inverts because they are attracted to enzimes inside cells that controll metabolic functions altering the way they work killing the animal. Or something close to that lol.
