Ted, I have found CBB's to be pretty simple. If they eat mysis withing a few days then you are fine, if they don't eat then you only have a week or two before they starve.
I don't think that there is any trick to it. You just have to get lucky enough to find one that handles the stress of capture and shipping well enough to keep eating. Once they start eating there are no problems.
My first CBB came from a LFS that had it a long time in the LR tank to clean up aiptasia. It ate with no problem and I kept it for two years until I broke down my 75.
I have tried 3 or 4 since then and all have withered away w/o eating. I love them but won't get another unless I see it eat vigorously at the LFS or unless it comes from another hobbyist that has kept it for awhile.
