I have a singapore angel in a 29 gallon QT who has ich. I'm getting ready to treat her with copper but was wondering if I need to remove the live rock that is in the QT or if I can leave it in there. Thanks alot!
The rock will adsorb the copper, making it difficult to maintain the copper concentration. It's best to treat in a bare bottom hospital tank with no calcareous substrate or rocks, just use pieces of PVC pipe to provide cover for the fish.
