copper with sand

im QTing a wrasse and I put a Tupperware container filled with sand for him to borrow. will the copper still treat the wrasse if he is constantly buried in the sand?

Yes the copper will treat the wrasse whether it’s buried or not. Just have a good test kit for the copper bc the sand may absorb some
