Copperband Butterfly Fish

Hi all, Has anyone Tryed to breed these guys. I know there hard to keep, not great shippers and picky eaters just to name a few.
Just would like to know if anyone has Tryed or had success. Thank you

Id be interested to hear of someone breeding them too. Most people cant even keep them alive.

I am pretty sure no one has done it. But if someone tried they never succeeded.

You need at least five in a large environment to have a reasonable chance of developing a pr. At that point foods would become important - to include live items.

I really doubt anyone has bred them except a public aquarium.
They should be egg scatters like tangs so I would imagine if you have a large enough tank, it would be possible. I have been keeping them for many years but never had a pair to experiment with.
