CopperBand Butterfly

Sounds like things are going well now. I kinda figured he was just spooked. I have a healthy little one who eats PE mysis like a champ. Don't worry too much or over think things. They tend to be anxious fish. No need to have two anxious ones in the home ;).

Mine went from barely eating at all to eating what amounts to a little more then a full cube of food. I've been feeding him half a cube of PE mysis and half a cube of Ocean Nutrition VHP stuff. He eats it ALL. I'm not joking. I think using the Garlic Extreme helps him hunt down the stuff that falls out of the water column. Last night I sat and watched as he swam around the tank for what had to have been 20 min. eating up the stuff he coudln't get to while it was floating in the current. I'm contemplating using some sort of feeding dish for him. He's fattened up and the little scratches he got on his side healed up within 2 days of getting em. So all seems to be well. (knock on wood) I still have to dump the food in the water then get away from the tank or he'll just hide on the back side of the rockwork and wait till I go at least 5 feet away. lol

Goodluck and let us know how it goes.

I had mine for two week now but I got him from a friend that had it for 18 months. HE WILL ONLY EAT P.E. Mysis!

Good luck,
Martin

Keep working with him dodger..... if hes getting interested... eventually hunger will get the best of him and he will feed. Patience is the key.
