They aren't really open water swimmers they go from rock to rock looking for pods. Well atleast mine doesnot ideal, because they do like to swim, but better than a tang in that size tank imo.
i had a CBB for years in my 160 and he liked to use every inch of that 6' tank length

Again sorry Mondo about yours!
it's all good man, thank you. it happens. i had actually had him (pretty sure it was a him based on the forehead shape at least) for a couple years and really enjoyed having him in the tank. only downside was that he developed quite the taste for acans and some other types of LPS
Hey Mondo
I didnt know yours died!. I meant to say "again sorry MarAquatic" .
But sorry about yours too.. I wonder how long they normally live.
*I ended up getting a CB today. Not the one wiht the mark on it. Looks really nice, of course not eating right now. They just got "him" in today. So now he's really stresse dwith all the changes.
**What do you all suggest I try to get him to eat? And I'm hoping he will not get a taste for my LPS, though I dont have too many.
TY!
I see on Live Aquaria that Aussie CB are 2x cost of others even more I think. I was told by a fish geek that it's because they have the best chance for survival. Thoughts on that?
Edit: the one I had died after less than 48 hrs. LFS tried to say it's because my salinity is 35 ppm (1.026-1.027). They tested it at 1/028, but anyhow it is 1.026-7. They keep their salinity much lower (of course ugh). I didnt think about that when I got him. I acclimted him, but if I knew salinity difference was great I would have lowered my tank and acclimated him even more slowly.
