i've had a copperband in my 60g cube for about three or four months, he used to eat like a pig. he would eat mysis and rod's reef and pretty much whatever you put in the tank, and would do so right out of your hand. but now he is laying on his side panting breathing heavy and looking like he won't make it through the night.
i have tested everything, it's spot on, every other fish is doing perfectly, everyone is fat and happy and corals look great. in the past week he has lost his appetite, and become very emaciated. what started out as what appeared to be a messed up scale or what have you right before and below the caudal peduncle, now is an open wound. it appears as if his skin is wearing through.
this fish does not have a single spot of ich on him. nothing has changed in the past couple weeks except for the addition of new corals.
what is this? and is there anything i can do?
