copperband tang sick/disease?

Two days ago we bought a copperband tang and put into our quariteen tank dosed with cupramine. He seems to be developing fin erosion/rot and spot on body. We are treating it with API Melafix for fin erosion. Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?

Feed with food soaked in garlic and selcon.

If it was the Copperbanded Butterfly,( never heard of a CB tang) There was already a strike against him. They are probably only second to Moorish Idols at being the worst in captivity. They don't feed well and very prone to disease. Not that I blame you, I have had both only to lose them in a week. If you find one that will eat, they get sick, if you find one that isn't sick, they wont eat.

DOn't get this fish unless you are an expert with a mature reef. Clearly your fish store doesn't fit this description.
