trying my best at this...
my copperband died (well it' MIA for 3 days now so probably dead)... it was healthy, not thin at all, was eating mysis like a pig...
had him for 6 months... got a lot of coperpods in the tank...
the previous one I had lived for 4 1/2 years! :sad2:
I dont understand what went wrong..
 
I had a copperband for about 6 months. eating well and looked awesome.
one day it was stuck to a powerhead. no idea what happened. ate well the night before and dead 12 hours later.
 
thats one of worst things about this hobby. sometimes things happen and we will never find out why. sorry for the loss.
 
It is always good to try and learn from mistakes. However in this case, it is not obvious that you did anything wrong. These are difficult fish because they sometimes eat and other times won't. The Australian version of this fish, Chelmon Marginalis, is hardier and goes through a "better collection process". If you are highly interested, investigate this fish.
