Copperbanded Butterfly and Yellow tang

I would like to have Copperbanded Butterfly in my tank, but I am worried because I already have Yellow tang, which is very often quite aggressive against Copperbanded Butterfly .

Could you post your experiences with combination of those two fishes.

To be brutally honest, if the copperband isn't currently eating and the tang is harassing him, he's not likely to make it. If that's the case, you need to get him out of the tank and into a quarantine tank to get him eating before reintroducing him.

If he's eating, he'll probably be fine and the tang will eventually accept him.

my yellow tang and copperband get along. Every once and awhile the tang still tells him whose boss, but my copperband is eating fine and gets in the middle of everybody eating. Just remember sometimes fish wont get along, so make sure and watch them.

I added a cb after a yellow tang, they fought for about a week, however the CB can defend itself. I would bet they'll get over it.

Same thing with me. My YT harassed my CB for about 2 days and that's it. My CB was already eating mysis in quarantine. I've heard a lot about CB killed by YT though.
