Copperbanded Butterfly in a 55?

Insane in the Brain
Just curious if I could get away with a CBB in a 55 gallon? MY LFS has one for a good price. He's been in stock for ~ 2 weeks and is eating frozen mysis and flake .

"Marine Fishes" By S. Michael recommends a 75galon which is only 6" deeper.

My only other hesitation is that I do have some LPS in my tank and I wouldn't want it to nip at them.

Thoughts? Advice?

Thanks!

I kept mine in there for a couple months, but i didnt have a ton of rock work. but he deffently likes the 90 better.

Also, while I don't condone putting one in a 55g - should you happen to get it anyway, they have a dismal survival rate, even in adequately sized tanks, maybe 1 in 10, based on previous posts. If you do get it make sure it's eating prepared food first.

My girfriend really wanted one too. There was a nice one that was eating good, but I decided not to for the fish's sake. 55 is too small. I probably shouldn't even have my 2" blue tang in there
