I bought a copperband from Kjerde before she left. I had a MAJOR aptasia problem. He was in my tank for about a week and a half and I didn't notice a single aptasia gone. I woke up one morning about 2 weeks after I had him and noticed a few aptasia gone. by the weeks end I couldn't find one. This guy is awesome. Best part is he eats other food like a pig so even with the aptasia dwindling down he is still happy healthy and fat.

Maybe in a week or 2 (after I am sure he has done his job completely) I would loan him to the right tank. I don't want to stress him out. He is one of the best looking copperbands I have seen and he eats frozen food which is a major plus!

Menard and I was just talking about a copperband for my aiptasia problem. I'm going to need to find one hopefully quick before people thinking I'm propagating aiptasia.

deep reef aquatics has muelleri butterfly I just got one little more expensive, but a lot more durable and looks very similar also will eat prepared food more often than copperband

tried keeping him in my main reef tank but my kole tang wouldn't

I didn't even know that the muelleri butterfly existed. just an fyi, based on the picture your fish is a regular copperband. Both pictures are similar, but yours has the "dot" on him, and the muelleri does not.
