I have two S51 HPS ballasts that were given to me in a single HUGE metal case (by a guy who used to do government repo work). These ballasts are up to $110 each as a bare ballast kit when new.

I'll donate them to CORA and we'll put them in the Auction (no biggie, they were free to me).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have fired and ignited a Hamilton 10K 400W lamp with these ballasts, but it flickered pretty bad at full power. Duh, they're made for sodium lamps.
NOTE: These are not the 400W SON-AGRO ballasts that work with 400W HQI Halides. These ballasts are probably best used to grow "ahem" plants "cough". :smokin:
...or macro algae!!!!!
So if you want a killer Caulerpa tank, come on down.
Also, if you have any friends who need a ballast for a grow light (don't tell us why), tell them to stop by and bid on these.
