CORA Meeting Ideas

Blender.....tequila....margarita mix....margarita glasses.....salt

That will do it for me:D

Something to keep in mind is that we at C-SEA are just a couple hours away and would love to have a closer relationship with CORA and its members. We could easily share national speakers if they are flown into Ohio since we have our meeting on Friday nights and CORA has some Thursdays and Saturdays that could work out to the benefit of both clubs.

We have had a few speakers that ended up costing the club over $1,000 between air fare, hotel, honorarium, meals etc... It would have been great, in my opinion to share them and, at least, split the air fare.

Many of the CORA members are people I consider great friends in the hobby and I would love to see our clubs working to help each other grow and become better than we thought possible.

Now THAT sounds like a meeting. Dont forget the shot glasses and slices of lime.

Kevin. Sounds like a good idea.

How 'bout an acrylic workshop? That way those of us that want to get in to acrylic stuff can get a leg up?

Of course, I'll take a mixed drink workshop too. :D

Hey the feeling is mutual brother :love2:
My thoughts exactly! There is no reason why C-Sea and CORA should not be working together and these types of meetings.
I'm looking forward to working with you guys in the upcoming year!

Thanks for the feedback so far.

I like Margaritas too, but Red Bull and Vodka is easier to make. ;)

I agree, sharing the cost of speakers would make it more affordable for both clubs.

I like the idea of an Acrylic workshop. I bought all of the stuff to make a Ca Reactor at one point, but found the assembly intimidating. I then had the opportunity to buy a used one cheap.
Maybe we could talk the World Famous Acrylics Master Geo into giving a demonstration/workshop for something simple like a Camera Box.
