Will LPS benifit from Coral Accel and other protein & animo acid base supplement?

I don't have enough time to feed each lps. Was wondering could dosing these protein/animo acid in the tank replace feeding?

I know most LPS don't require feeding by the way, I just like the growth/good health seen with it.

Most LPS are very active feeders. Whether or not they are being directly target fed or simply grabbing things that come by such as extra fish food or live plankton in the display is another thing.

I would just provide a little extra food when feeding the fish. I routinely see my corals grab pellets, mysis shrimp, Cyclo-Eeze, Pacifica plankton, and SweetWater zooplankton.

And my plate eats garlic fortified fish pellets. ;)

I do use Kent Coral Vite and Reef Essentials in alternating weeks and have noticed beyond-expected response in 3 corals, the only ones I would suspect are benefiting: the plate coral (huge extension); the euphyllia: big extension; and the blue corals: I have an ac. aculeus and an ac. tenuis, the latter of which I have been nursing back from browning. It does markedly show increased blue after a Coral Vite feeding. For the rest, I'm not seeing anything extraordinary. It's possible the two blue corals find something otherwise lacking in Oceanic sea salt. But I cannot swear to it. I do use it when I have had to miss a weekend water change.

I also feed quite a lot of phytoplankton, because of a clam and pods, and heartily recommend that practice. Everything seems happy with the situation, and it greatly increases the microlife.

coral accel and vite are very different. Reef essentials and vite are chemical and element supplements- iodine, cal, mag, trace elements, etc.... Coral accel is a liquid food containing mostly crude protein and animo acids. I was wondering if corals could absorb these proteins/acids through their tissues and make food out of them. Because I know there's no way it could catch these liquids with their polyps like it would with solid food.

I have no fish, so I never feed my tank solid food.

I use Selcon and Zoe Marine to soak my foods in. I add Coral Vibrance 2-3 times per week. The Sweetwater Zooplankton is very readily received IMO. Gl, Marcye
