coral acctually eats poop!

i always thought that when people said that coral feeds off fish poop that they were referring to the nutrients released as the poop decomposes. I was wrong. Today, i saw my clownfish poop, and the poop floated over into my green milli. I saw the milli’s polyps attach to the poop, and slowly swallow it.

how come a company has not made a product that is just collected fish poop to feed to corals? from what i understand, fish poop is one of the best foods for corals along with light.

It may be a little difficult to keep it "intact" for very long....especially with shipping involved. By the time it got anywhere it would just be "dirty water" unless you could dry it and ship it.

Would it still be as valuable of a food once it has been dried?
