Are the color variations of the Coral Beauty (Centropyge bispinosa) determined by location? Depth? Both? Others?

The stunner on LADD got me thinking...

I have seen a lot more listed with certain phrases in the names. As for the one pictured, they are calling those deep water coral beauties. The darker ones as shallow water, not sure if their is any truth to that though. Personally I think it would be the other way around and a darker colored fish would be found in deeper water. I also think that the vast stretch of water they populate would have some color variation from point A to point B.

My coral beauty has allot more blue and purple. I'm not sure if it was a shallow water or deep water one though. interesting to find that out though

My favorite is definitely the blue/purple ones with just a small glow of orange on the body... and no tint of green.

I love that CB. CB are a particular fav of mine. I love that deep purple. The purdiest one I've ever seen was alot like the one you have w a deep purple color, almost violet, highlight purple around the fins and elongated fins. I was told it was a Tonga Coral Beauty, til this day I kick my self for not getting her.
