Coral Beauty - doing great Xmas eve - dying and dead xmas morning

She has been fine, no visible or invisible signs of anything.

She was eating like a horse and very playful, and then xmas morning she was sitting still and then died a couple hours later.

She had a fat belly so she was eating well. I am lost on what could have happened. All the other fish, Niger trigger, Tang, and Bursa trigger along with Condi Anenome are fine??

I have since done a 30% water change.... but below are the readings from before I changed water.



PH 8.0
Nitrate was 20
Phosphate - non-existant
Salinty - 1.026
Temp - 80.5 degrees

The fat belly may be due to her being backed up and not being able to release. My lost my bluejaw trigger that way.

+1 i agree , it probably was eating just fine, but if it cannot let it out it will just explode!! sucks to say but, stuff like this happens. sorry about your loss
