Coral box d700?

Has anyone had expirence with this skimmer if so could you give some feed back on it?!

I've got the 300 on my 75g and love it. Does a great job and very quiet.

Good deal I've just ordered the d700 going to try it on my 100g cube hopefully I'll have the same luck as you thanks for reply!

Run it in your kitchen sink with a little vinegar in the water for about an hour to start the break-in. Mine has been going strong for about a year.

Thanks for the advice that's what I'll do as soon as it comes in thanks again. Btw is it hard to fine tune with the controller and the gate valve adjustments ?

Very easy to tune. I run the pump at full speed with the gate valve about 1/3 to 1/2 open. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I've had skimmers that cost way more and weren't as well built or work as well. Its definitely a bargain, I dont know why more people don't use them.

Just be careful and don't over tighten the plastic screws and you'll be fine.

Well I just got the d700 today doing the break in right now. Still new or I would post pictures but I'm not really sure how?!
