coral catshark

I just want to get some opinions on if my tank is big enough for one from people who aren't trying to get my money. My tank is a 6'x4'x18" 270 gallon tank.
My stock list includes: 4" hippo tang, 5" blonde naso tang, 7" orange shoulder tang, 3" flame angel, 4" harlequin tusk, 4" male blue throat trigger and a 2" clown trigger.
If my tank is big enough for a coral cat shark I'll be getting rid of the clown trigger for sure and possibly the blue throat.
My filtration includes around 150lbs of live rock, about 200lbs of live sand and 40 gallon sump with a bubble magus curve 9 protein skimmer.

Your tank is large enough, the problem is the stocklist. Outside of the triggers, angels and tangs don't always make the best tankmates with sharks.

Really? Why are tangs bad tank mates? I was aware that large angels weren't ideal tank mates for sharks is it the same for dwarfs?

A benthic shark like that doesn't belong in a tank with those fish. The eyes are a tasty treat for something like a clown trigger

I agree that stock list isn't really suited for a benthic shark. Most benthic sharks are best paired with other benthic sharks, rays, sometimes eels, small groupers, or jacks.

Any herbivore is subject to possibly picking/nipping on the shark which in turn will cause infection and that can lead to death.

The clown trigger has been rehomed. Is it common for tangs to pick at sharks I really want to keep them for the movement and activity they bring and because they're my little swimming buddies.

I've been doing some reading and found out that magnets can affect sharks. Does this mean my jeabo powerheads will need to be replaced?

You typically don't want anything in the tank that a shark can "sample" and possibly ingest causing death outside of magnets and power heads
