Coral choices

Hi there. My tank is fairly new, 7.5 weeks at moment. Got a few soft corals at the moment, pulsing xenia, paly, toadstool leather, fuzzy mushroom and clove polyp. Got a small cuc in and 1 fish a lawnmower blenny. I'm on holiday next from 3rd for a week and looking @ adding something on my return. Fish going for a pair of clowns but for corals I'm not sure whether to stick with softs, or get a small lps. They sell bright green trumpet coral at Lfs or a multitude of softs.

94litre kent marine bio reef
11kg live rock
4kg sand, 2kg as live.
200g rowaphos
100g carbon
100g purigen
Filter floss
1000 l/pH return pump
100w heater

1 Mexican turbo snail
2 turbo snails
2 red legged hermit crabs
1 blue legged hermit
2 nassarius snails
2 super nassarius

1 lawnmower blenny

I would rethink the clowns if I were you. 94l = ~25g. If you were to put a pair of clowns (even 1 IMO) in there, they would be the only fish you have in short order.

You are already pretty well stocked with soft corals so I would continue with them. In that size system, allelopathy between the soft and stonies will make it difficult to keep both.

I would agree on the clowns, I put a pair of clarki clowns in my 47 gl. cube and they took over ran everything to death. they are very territorial.

I disagree with the verdict on clown fish. I have a bonded pair in my 40 gallon tank, along with a pair of flame fish, a fox face, and a pilot goby. They've all lived together for months. Before anyone jumps in about the fox face, I'm planning to sell him back in a couple more months.

They are territorial, but I've not seen it to the level the previous post stated.
