Coral-Con tips

So I'm sure many of us will be attending Coral-Con this weekend. It just so happens my daughter will have a cheer competition Sunday morning in Lakeland so I have convinced the wife to stay in Orlando. We will get there around 2-3PM on Saturday. Sunday morning is the competition which usually starts early around 8 and we are done by 11 AM or 12 PM. My question is what is the best way to keep a coral alive for the duration of the trip? I know lots of people use coolers or small aquariums. MY question is should I just use a battery powered bubbler for filtration or a small hang on the back filter? The coral should be ok without light for a bit I assume? what about a heater? Ill probably be hitting the convention up on Sunday after the competition. What steps should I take to keep my coral alive from midday Sunday to Monday morning when I get home? Thanks for your help ! Who else will be going?

Just pick up the corals when you're ready to go Sunday. The vendors will hold them for you. They'll be fine in a cooler till you get back Monday. Virtually no different than corals being shipped overnight.

Excellent, I didn't know they would do that for you. Saves alot of pain. Thanks
