Coral Dip?

I'm looking for a good coral dip and figured I'd ask here.
I'm in the processing of completely re aquascaping my 120.I have a temporary set up while new tank is cycling with new 'dry rock'.
I 'd like to dip all of the existing corals before I re introduce to new set up.
Thanks in advance

+1 on Coral Rx. Just dipped every coral in my tank. Coral Rx is not harsh on the coral, and it kills everything that it claims to. I'm probably going to begin a regular dipping schedule since my corals dont seemed to mind the dipping process.

Coral RX is definitely the current champ in this arena... and that is reflected in its price... If you're lucky, sometimes you can snag samples at shows and swaps. Otherwise, just use your house as collateral and get a big bottle.

Yes, it is probably the best. Not cheap though. :love2:

i use seachem's Reef dip and interceptor as a preventive for all my new corals as i have learned the hard way . i think its more important to dip corals than QT fish but most fish should also be quarantined unless they are of very delicate nature and would further be stressed by it .
on another note has anyone ever heard of freshwater dips for corals and if they have a place in reef keeping ?

Ok i'm going with coral RX.
I plan to dip several corals(12++).
Probably not a good idea but can they be dipped in the same bath seperately?

yes they can as you usually can use the same for a day or more .my reef dip also states that you can double dose ,and i alwaly do along with a ten minute bath it seems to do well .

" RX and Revive are the same product with the same active ingredients, however Revive is much less expensive!"

This is what I was told by a seachem rep. Never looked for myself.

Just got one myself Coral RX:

I dont want to use it in ONE gallon...I want smaller..

2 cups = coral rx ml ????

thanks!
Jake

I would think that fresh water dipping is more stressful on corals then some of the products mentioned on this thread

right i have just seen frest water dips suggested and didnt think they were good for corals myself ,just wondering if there was a place for them for something .
