I let the LFS talk me into buying this without knowing anything about it. He gave me a name, but I can't remember what he called it. Does it require any special care, or just good light & good flow? Thanks!!
looks like hydnophora to me. Beautiful coral, but keep it a good distance from any other corals. They love to attack and digest their neighbors. Good light and flow will keep it happy.
i have one too. I got it from LiveAquaria.com as an "Endive Hydnophora Coral - Aquacultured"
i have it in a decent flow in the top 1/3 of my tank.
i have been feeding the tank mysis and spirulina gutloaded brine. At night i have been occasionally feeding baby brine into the fuge outflow. I have only had it for a few weeks but it seems to be doing well.
